Our speaker is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Sociology and Women’s and Gender Studies at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. Her research interests include Immigration & Diaspora and Catastrophe & Collective Memory. Most recently, Dr. Gerson served as a Senior Fellow at the Mandel Center of the U. S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D. C.
