Adult Program: “Is the Bible Historically Accurate?”
A presentation by Bennett Muraskin
What is the historical basis (or lack thereof) of biblical stories? How much truth is there in biblical narratives? Bennett, a frequent speaker at Peretz adult programs, will share with us a selection of stories from the bible–from Adam, to the Exodus, to King David–present the latest scholarship on the origins of the Jewish people, and examine the relationship between history and the stories told in the bible.
