Adult Program: “Traveling to Cuba with the Jewish Forward” – a presentation by IL Peretz member Judy Rosenthal
In February of 2015, IL Peretz member Judy Rosenthal traveled to Cuba with the Jewish Forward. See and learn about some of the most interesting sights in Cuba. They include the Sephardic and Ashkenazi Synagogues in Havana, the Ashkenazi cemetery and Holocaust Memorial in Guanabacoa, the home of the President of the Jewish Community in Cienfuegos, as well as the following places in Havana: a monument to Ethel and Julius Rosenberg, the United States Embassy, Revolutionary Square, street scenes, and vintage cars.
